We may have lost legendary Long Beach, California rapper Nate Dogg back in 2011, but that doesn’t mean his music hasn’t continued to touch fans. The West coast rapper’s hits hold a special place in the hearts of longtime fans, and those less familiar with the late rapper-singer are able to appreciate his sound now that Anderson .Paak has featured him on the track, “What Can You Do?” from his latest effort Ventura.
“It was just so awesome to be able to get the song with him,” Paak said of the Ventura song. “Fredwreck, the producer who produced so much Snoop and Dogg Pound and so much stuff with Dre on the Chronic and 2001. He had a bunch of Nate Dogg songs that he did before he died. This one in particular was one he really felt like we could use for my album.”
